"Sunny Meadows" is the first private park in Kupiškis district, which was started by landscape architect Vilma Vebeliūnienė on her parents' land in 2020. Here, the nature speaks the language of beauty and peace – it invites you to relax among blooming flowers, wonderful aromas and enchanting combinations of plants.
Every step is a new discovery. The nearly 2-hectare park is home to more than 1,000 species of perennial flowers, shrubs and trees. Here you can see the true chasteberry (Vitex agnus-castus), the linden with prickly but extremely tender leaves (Tilia henryana), the delicate mimosa (Albizia Julibrissin Rosea) and others. Here you can buy plants from the local assortment, a bouquet of fresh cut flowers, locally grown and carefully collected dried medicinal herbs.
The palette of flowering plants is brightly colored by beds of blooming thyme. If you want to make sure that a thyme bed exists – come and see! Expanding collections of thyme, mint and peonies are waiting to be discovered.
"Sunny Meadows" offers private tours that introduce the location, installation and maintenance solutions, and different types of plants. There are also day camps, photo shoots and educational activities on flowering plants that will be interesting for the whole family. Four-legged pets are welcome as well.
This park is a place where you can escape from everyday life and enjoy the peace that nature provides, get new ideas and inspiration.
Visitors are welcome from June to October, on Fridays from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., on Sundays from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. Arrival at another time can also be arranged. The entrance fee is 10 EUR per person, the time of stay is not limited.
