Memorial Plaque for Jews

In 2004, a memorial plaque was unveiled in the former Jewish synagogue, which now houses the Kupiškis municipal public library, with the names and surnames of all the Jews of Kupiškis who perished. Brothers Normanas and Alekas Mejeriai – grandsons of the deceased Naftalis and Malkė Mejerovičiai, and other descendants of Kupiškis Jews – took care of "transferring" the names of the dead Jews onto the metal plaque.
