The mound dates back to the beginning of the 1st millennium. It is located on the right bank of the Šernup River. in 1999 Povilas Tebelškis explored an area of 60 m² in the mound, but did not find any cultural layer. The mound is heavily covered with plows and plowed fields, covered with pine trees. The mound is included in the register of cultural values.
