This is a 16th–17th century cemetery in Buivėnai village. In 1983, archaeological research was conducted under the leadership of archaeologist Povilas Tebelškis, during which 13 graves were found in the cemetery. Of these, 6 male and 2 female graves were identified. 48 finds were also collected. Among them, 36 coins minted during the reign of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania: Alexander Jagiellon, Sigismund I the Old, Sigismund II Augustus and Stephen Bathory. 3 rare Lithuanian coins were also found, with Vytis on the obverse and Columns of Gediminas on the reverse. In addition to coins, 5 knives, a brass buckle, a brass ring, a bone darning needle and a cylindrical tin spindle were also found. The cemetery was included in the Register of Cultural Property in 1992, declared a cultural monument in 1998, and recognized as protected by the state in 2005.
