Hanseatic flax warehouse is one of the oldest brick buildings in Kupiškis. It was built in the first half of the 19th century. Kupiškis was famous for its flax growing traditions. From this warehouse, the flax was being transported by railway to the port of Liepoja or by carts to the port of Riga. Currently, this building, together with the building of the former Kenigšteteris pharmacy, belongs to the construction company UAB "Dailista" and is visited only from the outside. The flax warehouse is included in the Register of Cultural Property.
