The wooden Church of St. Francis of Assisi was built in 1940. The organ was built from donated funds in 1986. A roofed pole in memory of the deportations to Siberia from 1941 to 1952 was consecrated in the square in 1990 (the author Arvydas Petrulis). The feast of St. Francis takes place on the first Sunday of October each year.
The church has been built in the shape of the cross. It is 24 m long and has one tower. The church has 2 sacristies and 3 altars. The fence of the churchyard is made of cement blocks.
