Vaduvos Mound

Mounds

The mound is located on the right bank of Šetekšna (Jara), at the confluence with Vaduva stream. The mound is dated from the end of the 1st millennium BC to the first half of the 1st millennium. Smooth pottery was found on the site of the mound. The mound was heavily damaged by the cemetery located the site of the mound. The slopes are covered with trees. The mound was included in the Register of Cultural Property in 1992, declared a cultural monument in 1998, and recognized as protected by the state in 2005.
